Connections :-) Welcome to 2021!

Le 5 janvier 2021

I am preparing to open a new year of yoga classes from behind my computer screen. If I had to pick a word which encapsulates a strong feeling for 2020, it would be CONNECTION, which I hope we can all carry with us into 2021.

The book « the Hidden Life of Trees » fell into my hands recently, where I read about the myriad and complex nurturing, feeding, and protecting abilities of trees which create forest and woods. They exist as a community. Yes, there can be connection through a zoom class and a deep sense of belonging to a community without a tangible physical presence with each others. Experiencing that sense of belonging while sitting, breathing, moving or meditating on our mat reminds us that as a community, we are much more that the sum of all parts.

We closed the year 2020 with a (virtual) mama & baby gathering where the thread of support was very beautiful and palpable despite the fact that each of us were sitting in various parts of town and even the world for some.

I do hope that 2021 brings us together again in person in not too long, but for the time being, let’s soak in the beauty of being together in a different, and maybe somehow more profound way.

The Schedule for the Online classes is unchanged. Here it is, with all the sign up information:
