'Mum with Baby' Postnatal Yoga

The classes (small groups) offer some nurturing space and time for Mum to work gently on her recovering body and adjust to the physical and emotional demands of motherhood.

 

Through the practice of restorative yoga postures, breathing and relaxation we look at:

* Releasing tensions in the parts of the body under strain from carrying baby, feeding, etc.

* Regaining balance and lightness to counteract the effects of tiredness.

* Giving special care to the abdomen, pelvic floor and joints.

 

Suitable from 8 weeks after the birth.

 

Babies are welcome in the class until they crawl and can join mum in some postures.

Regular daytime courses are held at the Yoga centre on Rue des Minimes, Bxl 1000 (place du Grand Sablon).
