Give Birth comfortably, powerfully and joyfully

This course will give you everything you need to approach your birth with confidence and goes beyond what is taught in most other classes. The aim is to inspire and inform you for an empowered birth experience and the safe birth of your baby. Those of you coming with a birth partner will enjoy working together with lots of practical hands on experience.

The topics include deep breathing exercises for labour and for birthing, relaxation, movement, active birth, wonderful effective massage techniques, the use of a water pool, cpmplementary therapies and guidance about how to combine thesewith medical back up should the need arise.

Janet's experience of 25 years as a leading birth educator shines through this weekend and we are delighted to have her her in Brussels on this unique occasion! Sophie, the Active Birth Yoga for Pregnancy teacher based in Brussels will be assisting Janet during the weekend and share her knowledge on the specific birth environment that Brussels and its outskirts offer.

This is a great course if this is your first baby, and ideal complement to pregnancy yoga, hospital classes or other birth preparation courses such as haptonomie or 'kine' work. The course is also opened to midwives, doulas and childbirth educators who would like to know more about Janet's unique approach to childbirth preparation.
