'Mum with Baby' Postnatal Yoga

The class offers some nurturing space and time for mum to restore energy and vitality in the supportive yogic company of other mamas and babies.
Through the practice of restorative yoga postures, sound, breath work and relaxation, we look at:
- Releasing tensions in the parts of the body under strain from carrying baby, feeding, etc.
- Regaining balance and lightness to counteract the effects of tiredness.
- Giving special care to the abdomen, pelvic floor and joints to help the body adjust to the post-pregnancy months.
We also practise some easy ''baby yoga moves" and introduce basic baby massage technics to promote a nurturing touch and bond between baby and mama.
Babies are welcome until too mobile and are associated in postures when appropriate.
The class is suitable from 8 weeks after the birth.
